Education Intern

The Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education seeks qualified interns to assist the Education Department in research and development for present and future education programs. OJMCHE education interns work closely over a period of several months with museum professionals on varied projects to gain insight into the workings of the museum. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: researching content for upcoming exhibitions, developing lessons and educator resources, plan and facilitate family days or other special programming opportunities, outreach to local schools and organizations, and assist with day-to-day activities. The internship is 10 hours a week for 8-10 weeks. Applicants must be undergrad or graduate students or career changers with interest and/or background in Holocaust studies, education, museum studies, ethnic studies, or history. Start dates are flexible.
