A partnership between Mittleman Jewish Community Center and Oregon Jewish Museum with the support of Greater Portland Hillel, Institute for Judaic Studies, Moishe House, Oregon Jewish Community Foundation, Shir Tikvah, Portland Jewish Academy, Portland State University, and Reed College.

Join us for a thought provoking discussion about the findings in "A Portrait of Jewish Americans" released by the Pew Research Center last fall as they relate to Portland’s Jewish Community. Participate in small group discussions over dinner based on issues in the survey: intermarriage, Jewish identity, Israel, synagogue affiliation, education and more.

Moderated by Neil Simon with remarks by Bob Liebman (Portland State University), Steve Wasserstrom (Reed College), and Marc Blattner (JFGP), with table facilitators Sylvia Frankel (Institute for Judaic Studies), Nina Spiegel (Portland State University), Rabbi Ariel Stone (Congregation Shir Tikvah), Yossi Shallman (Moishe House), Greater Portland Hillel, and Merrill Hendin (Portland Jewish Academy).

Music provided by Alicia Jo Rabins.
