September 12 | 7pm
Lesbians and queer folks of all ages and their partners are invited to a Shabbat dinner in honor of Outliers and Outlaws, hosted by Rabbi Rachel Joseph of Congregation Beth Israel! This special Shabbat partnership between CBI, OneTable, and the Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education welcomes queer and lesbian-identifying community members to join together for a night of celebration and connection.
Everyone is invited to join for Kabbalat Shabbat services at 6pm, led by Rabbi Rachel and Kim Schneiderman. Attending services are not required to attend the dinner.
Vegan Thai food and beverages will be provided. Tickets are required and available on the OneTable platform. No one turned away for lack of funds; please email Mariah Berlanga-Shevchuk (mbshevchuk@ojmche.org) to request financial support.
This event is nourished by OneTable and presented as part of Outliers and Outlaws: Stories from the Eugene Lesbian Oral History Project.
