OJMCHE Bag Search Policy
As of June 20, 2025, all bags are subject to search and OJMCHE reserves the right to refuse entry.
Weapons of any type are strictly not allowed in the museum, including guns and knives (even pocket knives.) Bags, backpacks, or items larger than 11″x17″x6″ must be checked in our coat room.
Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and assistance in helping keep the museum safe.
- Photography is allowed in the exhibition galleries; flash photography is not allowed. OJMCHE may at specific times post signage for exhibitions that do not allow photography.
- Animals are not permitted. The only exception is for service animals on a leash and under their handler’s control as authorized by applicable law.
- Accessible public restrooms are located on the first and second floors.
- A gender-neutral restroom is located on the first floor.
- There is an elevator to the second-floor exhibitions and administrative offices.
- Children may not be left unattended in the Anne and Goldie’s Children’s Corner.
